I have made many ornament recipes over the years but was thrilled with this basic gingerbread man recipe that is solid enough for the tree and little fingers but also for eating. The flavor of these chewy morsels is a Christmas treat. Emma walked around with hers for over a half hour and it stood up very well. I added a touch of currants to dress them up.
