Introduction to toys is essential to the development of babies between the ages of 12-24 months as they begin to explore the world and all it holds. At 15 months Emma is right at that stage where she is now enjoying colorful and stimulating toys, manipulative toys, and "cause and effect" toys, which include anything that she can push, pull, bang, open, shut, and more.

All children, well all of my children at some point as a my older two would argue this but they still fiddle, they love to fiddle with buttons and laces and snaps so what better than to put it all on a doll. Dress-Up dolls are wonderful teaching aids for little children. My oldest, now 13 had an Arthur Doll that was complete with buttons, snaps, zippers and shoes to tie and honestly all I remember was this was her favoirte and she loved it. So why not get a new one!!

Manhattan Toys make wonderful toys for all ages and are educational, so this was a great pick for both Emma and Everett. Even though he is turning 5 the little laces are wonderful teaching aids right now as we are learning to tie his shoes!! and Emma loves anything right now that is soft, and stuffed with a face. Emma has made it favorite already, so sharing is a little tough right now in my house.
